There is no concreate reference in Islam about having sex or intercourse in the bathroom is halal or haram between a married couple. In various interpretations we can reach to a conclusion that a husband and wife can take bath together but they should maintain bare minimum cover between them. Our prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) used to bath accompanied his wife.
What is Bathroom Sex?
When the sextual act between a couple takes place inside the bathroom is called bathroom sex. Bathroom sex is considered an act of public sex that happens in the shower, bathtub, sink and toilet.
Is Sex in the Bathroom Allowed in Islam?
Therefore, it is not good practice for a man to have an intercourse with his wife while having shower. Not mentioning Allah Subhanu Tala beforehand can be guided him against the Sunnah.

It is suggested for the Muslims to seek refuge with Allah while entering the washroom from male or female Jinn and Satan.
Many scholars dislike the fact of staying inside the toilet or bathroom which includes the toilet for long time than needed because of various reasons.
Imam al-Nawawi (d. 1277), a Shafi jurist and hadith scholar wrote a chapter on toilet etiquette in his book Riyad al-Salihin which means The Gardens of the Righteous. He elaborated that the rules are meant to protect man’s dignity, purity, and health, as well as to avoid offending Allah and His angels. He also cited various hadiths that support these rules and warned against violating them.
Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When any one of you enters the lavatory, he should say: ‘Allahumma inni a’oodhu bika min al-khubthi wa’l-khabaa’ith (O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil ones, male and female).”
The toilet contains germs and harmful bacteria. Human can get ill by staying there unnecessarily. Some Muslim scholars dislike having sex in the bathroom because of the Satan and bad Jinn stays there according to Islam. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Is It Permissible For Him to Have Intercourse with His Wife in the Bathroom?
This is not preferable not to have sex with wife in bathroom. Bathroom is a place of Satan and bad Jiin’s living place.
Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “When a man enters the lavatory, Satan plays with his bowels until he comes out.”
Who Are Permissible To Do Sex in the Bathroom in Muslim Laws?
According to the Quran and Hadith, there is no reference to having intercourse with wife in the bathroom. In order to maintain hygiene, one should avoid staying in the toilet for longer than necessary
However, it is adversarial to have an act of having sex in the bathroom in Islam. As Muslims, it is always preferable to lead our life with the Sunnah.
