Pronounce: “Allahuma alhayu alqayuwmu, dhu aljalal wal’iikrami. ‘as’aluk ‘ana trini watajeal zawji rjlaan salhaan, khbyraan bialtaqwaa, khbyraan bieibadat allayli, khbyraan bisiam alnahar. waijealh baraan liki, baraan bwaldy wabihima, hafzaan li waliwaladi, yakhafuk fi kuli ‘amra, mhafzaan ealaa ‘awqat alsalaat eindama yadkhul waqtaha.”
Meaning: “O Allah, the Most Living, the Most Self-sufficient, who has majesty and glory. I ask You to show me and make my husband a righteous man, an expert in piety, an expert in worship at night and an expert in fasting during the day. Make him obedient to you, skilled in doing good to my parents and both of them, guardian of me and my children, fearing You in every matter, always keeping the times for prayer when the time has come.”
